This page says what the Sifa website collects, why, and who helps us run it. We kept it short on purpose.

The contact form

When you send the form on our home page, we receive what you type: your name, your business, the website you have today, what you need, your message, and the way you ask us to reach you. We use it to reply. It is kept in the studio's private database, not on a public page.

The questionnaire

The questionnaire at houseofsifa.com/start asks about your business, your style, the pages you want and how to contact you. It may include an email address or phone number if you choose to add one. It also lets you upload a logo and photos. We use your answers and files to build your site, and they are kept in the studio's private storage.

The human check

Our forms, payment button and the client concierge use Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from automated programs. It runs in your browser, and Cloudflare receives technical details about your browser and connection to decide. Cloudflare's own privacy terms apply to that check.

Limits that stop abuse

To keep spammers out, we limit how many chats, forms and checks one visitor can start in a given time. For the chat limit we keep a short-lived counter that uses a scrambled (keyed hash) form of your internet address instead of the address itself.

Payments

When online payment is switched on, you pay through Square on Square's own secure page. Your card details go to Square and never reach us. We receive a confirmation that the order was paid and its order reference, and we keep that reference in our private database for up to 30 days to unlock your client page. Square's privacy terms apply to what it collects. Until payment is switched on, no payment button is shown.

The client page and the concierge, by voice or text

The concierge is for paying clients only. It is not on our public pages. After you pay, you are sent to a private client page, and later we can send you a private link to it. The link carries a signed code that proves you are a client. It is not a cookie, and we do not store it. The client page is hidden from search engines. The Sifa concierge runs on ElevenLabs. Before a conversation starts, you are asked to agree to a short note. When you agree, your conversation is recorded and stored. That includes a transcript of what you type or say and, for voice, the audio. We use it to answer you and to improve the service. It may be handled by ElevenLabs and the language-model providers it uses to run the concierge. Right now, conversations are kept for 90 days.

Voice only starts if you press Talk and allow your microphone. Please do not tell the concierge passwords or card numbers. It will not ask for them.

When you open the concierge, your browser also loads the chat widget's code from unpkg, a public code host.

The phone-number check

This step is not switched on yet. When it is, you will enter a mobile number before a chat starts. We use Twilio to check that it is a real mobile number and to text you a code. We only text numbers that pass the check. We store only a scrambled (keyed hash) form of the number, to stop repeat requests, and never the number itself. Twilio handles the number to send the text.

The website check

If you type your website address into the check on our home page, we read its public pages (the home page, robots.txt, llms.txt and the sitemap) to score it. Results are kept for a few minutes so repeat checks are fast. They are not linked to you.

Cookies and tracking

We do not run advertising trackers or analytics on this site, and we do not set our own cookies. The Cloudflare human check may use its own short-lived browser storage to work.

Who helps us run the site

• Cloudflare: hosting, security, the human check, and private storage for form answers.
• Square: online payments, once switched on.
• ElevenLabs: the voice and text concierge for clients.
• Twilio: the phone-number check, once it is on.

We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for their own use.

Your choices

You never need the concierge: the contact form always works. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, send a note through the contact form and tell us how to reach you. We will reply there.
